JMac Constructions awarded rebuild of Colleges Crossing

The popular recreation area which spans the Brisbane River at Chuwar was completely destroyed in last January’s floods, and was formerly equipped with barbecues, playground facilities, a cafe, lookouts and a boat ramp.

Restoration of the College’s Crossing recreation reserve has been made possible by $9 million of NDRRA funding.

Works are due to commence in July and will see all former facilities rebuilt with the addition of new playgrounds.
