About the project
JMac was engaged to design and construct a new clubhouse for the rugby league team at Usher Park, Daisy Hill. The project delivered a functional, durable and cost effective facility designed to support players, officials and club operations, while meeting all client and stakeholder requirements.
Scope
Design and construction of a lightweight steel framed clubhouse with lightweight cladding and metal roofing
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing services
Male and female change rooms with shower facilities
Change room seating with stainless steel frames and timber seats
Clubroom, office, referee rooms and first aid room
Commercial kitchen with stainless steel cabinets and shelving
Installation of energy efficient lighting and water efficient fixtures
Construction of a concrete sleeper retaining wall
Installation of plastic lockers
Landscaping works including 720m² of turf and a new concrete pathway
Outcomes
JMac worked closely with the project architect to deliver a smart, practical and affordable clubhouse. Functionality and durability were key design considerations, with robust materials such as stainless steel kitchen finishes selected to support ease of maintenance and long term use.
